Welcome to the VIDES+USA Blog!

Volunteers International for Development, Education, and Service (VIDES) is the lay missionary arm of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians -- the Salesian sisters, or FMAs. With the support and payer of the sisters, we volunteers go to where we are needed and serve children and women at risk. VIDES is a world-wide network of volunteers, and the volunteers of VIDES+USA are all over the world.

This blog is a place for current and past volunteers to share their experiences, and for their friends and family to keep tabs on them. It's also a good place for any other interested or curious folks to see what we're about.
